Different people, different personality. In network marketing, you will meet people with different personalities. How you present network marketing to them will be different from one person to another. If you talk about your business opportunity in their language or according to their color personality, they will understand and you will accomplish your network marketing success mission.
There’re 4 color personality in general with different approach.
1) Red personality: they like to know the straight forward point,HOW THEY GET PAID or how they can earn money through this business
2) Yellow personality: they like to know if you can help them in this business. Yellow people are caring people. If you care about them, they will join your business
3) Green personality: this person wants to know everything because he likes to analyze and go into details.
4)Blue personality: they’re looking for FUN.
In my family, I have yellow, blue and green personalities of family members. My hubby likes to search facts and details. Travelling with him especially dining meant eating at the recommended restaurant which involved searching map and taking different types of public transport. My youngest girl has blue personality, a bubbly girl. She likes to talk and she likes doing things which are FUN. My eldest daughter is yellow, she’s good at teaching her younger sister, a good listener and a loyal friend.
I have come across my mentors who are in 3 different color personalities. With my green mentor, I can discuss about strategy and he’s like an information center. With my yellow mentor, she understands feeling and we share the common interests: personal development and subconscious mind. I have yellow personality too. With red mentor, she leads people.
There’s a wrong belief in network marketing that it has to do with sales. I did have this belief and I did network marketing the wrong way before. I know that you’re proud with the products and company but you don’t have to show off to people with your magic products or wonderful company. You just need to learn to communicate like casual conversation without causing a tension between you and the prospect. Learning communication skills and color personality is just among basic skills that pave your way to network marketing success. I don’t claim I’m an expert but I’m working toward a better communicator. I’m glad of being a networker because I learn many critical skills in network marketing.
